My first post! Teal and Brown Baby Shower for a Boy!

Hello! For my very first post, I will be showcasing the decorations and favors I made for my sister-in-law's Giraffe themed Baby Shower.  She's having a boy so I decided to do something different and used Teal and Brown as her baby shower colors, rather than the typical light blue colors often used for boy baby showers.

THE INVITE:  I used my Cricut and the New Arrival Cartridge (thanks Mari!) for the giraffe and letters on the front.  I used the cuddle bug to give the invite a pebbly-stony texture that reminded me of giraffe print.  The ribbon separating the giraffe and block letters I found at Joann's for $1.00!  It went perfect with the colors I chose for this Giraffe Themed Baby Shower.

THE FAVORS: I bought white boxes from Michael's and decorated them with brown and light teal ribbon.  The onesies I cut with my Cricut and the New Arrival Cartridge.  The circle giraffe print I cut with my circle punch and left over scraps of animal print paper.

I used these Hershey Air Delights kisses to fill the boxes.  Don't the brown spots remind you of giraffe print?

  1. Happy to know about the baby shower. My sister in law is searching some of the affordable New York venues for her friend's hens party in a couple of weeks. It will be a private affair with close friends and dear ones. Food and cake of course will be ordered from quality places. Gave her some gift ideas also.
